A Fascinating and Therewithal Dangerous Camping Place: Yenice Lake!
I'm gonna talk about my mom's hometown. It's located 100 km east from Çanakkale province. It's call Yenice. There is famous to green nature, organic vegetables and plants, peaceful and silent. It''s a small and cute district. Believe me, when you arrived there, you'll fall in love because it's located skirts from most second clean air 'İda(Kazdağları) mountains of the 'world'!
Why i'm talking about this, because we need to more clean air in this world now. Almost all of us living crowded, inside of the big factories and cars smoke in big cities! We can't breath as good and everyday we need to care our too much problems. Village people such a lucky, right? That's why, at least our a little holiday plans need about more natural places and i can help you! Don't worry, you can thank me later.☺
Anyway, 6 years ago i discovered my camping place. I was visiting Yenice but never thought there is a fascinating place for camping. One of my relative talked about there and i was run no wasted time!☺ Fall in love there, when i arrived. It's a blue, big lake located middle of the pine, cypress and oak trees. Can you imagine? Only one word, fascinating!
Well, i wanna talk about more Yenice because if you need to camping that lake place, you need to go first Yenice city centre and buy someting for eat and drink. Camping place has nothing and frankly, a little away from city centre! That's why, we need to know more Yenice city centre. Dear friends, you don't need to go city centre for buy something. You can taste famous dishes in the local restaurants! Many of restaurants are old-historical and there is professional-experienced old chefs. Jobs in restaurants there, run from father to son/daughter and minimum 4th generations.
You can visit cute, sincere cafes and eat-drink somethings. I recomment to drink Turkish tea for you. In summer times you can swimming in the pool while watching city centre view and also eat-drink something there. Pool is located quite high from the center. If you ask my opinion, left your vehicles at the city center and go on there by foot. So, it will be perfect sport for you!☺
You can hiking and paragliding in Yenice too. Hiking in the forest is always awesome experience for me there. I've never try Paragliding but i was see them, looks really cool! If you like it, you can buy a tour and try dear friends!☺
Well, now we know more to Yenice. We can talk about our camping place! Guys, it's call Yenice barajı so, Yenice Dam in english. Yep, you can thought a dam but looks more a lake. If you wanna come there, you need to drive or ride at least 8-10 km away from Yenice city centre. A little difficult to find there because you need to go only one way and road looks so complicated! And also, unfortunately there is no road sign to show lake. You can get it to dirt road to go there. Only that dirt road bring you to lake and it will be in your left side coming from Yenice city centre.
When you found that road, you need to follow it. That road bring you to your camping place after 3-5 km directly. An awesome lanscape welcomes to you first. You need to pass on the dam bridge and you can suitable place for your tent and set it up. I recommend to go there 4-5 hours before to sunset because you need to a camping fire! In this reason you can keep away wild animals and especially wild boar from your camp. There is some some wild animals like fox, jackal and wild boar. Most dangerous wild animal is definitely wild boars! You need to be careful to them. That's why, i recommend to don't leave away from your camp in the night. Don't worry, your camping fire will protect to you!☺
After your tent set it up, you need to walk and collect long burning woods, guys. Because your camping fire need to burn until morning. Dry and thick oak branches will be perfect for your camping fire. If you prepared your camping fire place with the woods, you can enjoy to your time and fascinating place! Put your camping chair near to the lake and sip your beer or wine. Please don't forget to cook some deli products too on the fire!☺ I wanna warn you to that; definitely bring on your side to insect repellent! Another option, the mosquitos bites you a lot!
Dear friends, that place can looks so attractive and alluring in the days but it's change when the see to sunset and darkness falls! Because you'll be in the wild life in there. If you haven't experience too much, you need to bring your side a quality survive wild-camping book. You know, nothing is more important than your life! In this reason, now i'm gonna share things you should never do! 👇
* Never swim in the lake!
* Never leave away from your camp!
* Don't walk around the lake unless you have to!
* Keep away from dam bridge, especially after the sunset!
* Always check it out your around and listen voices for wild animals!
* Be careful to your camping fire, prevent fire from spreading around and your tent!
* Don't try to eat plants if you don't recognize them!
